WineGB Wessex

Wessex is a fast-growing region with a number of large commercial producers. Within Hampshire there is a growing tourism initiative through Vineyards of Hampshire which brings together key Hampshire producers to promote the many benefits of visiting the vineyards & discovering their wines. Whilst traditionally a still wine production area the region is now better known for the sparkling wines produced in East Hampshire & West Dorset. The region houses some of the oldest vineyards in England, including Hambledon, the oldest commercial vineyard.
