Founder, Simon Robinson had always wanted to make something that was quintessentially British. Listening to a radio programme in 2000 on the rapidly developing English wine scene his Hattingley adventure began. Turning over 25 acres of chalky, south sloping fields to vineyards (2008) and building a 600 tonnes capacity, state-of-the-art, eco-friendly winery in 2010. Hattingley Valley has quickly established itself as one of the UK’s most successful wineries, winning over 100 medals, 13 trophies, and three Best in Class for its wines.
